Assessment of the severity of atopic dermatitis — SCORAD and EASI

Atopic dermatitis is one of the most prevalent chronic inflammatory skin diseases, which can vastly influence patients quality life. Objective assessment severity required to select adequate therapy and evaluate its effectiveness. Heterogeneous clinical manifestations with greatly varying make it difficult assess atopic dermatitis. More than twenty methods are developed for this diseases severity. SCORAD, oSCORAD EASI elementary reliable allowing define relatively quickly accurately. Each these three has own particularities, that could be advantages or disadvantages depending on circumstances.
